About the Journal

Media Mesin: Majalah Teknik Mesin is published by Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Indonesia. Media Mesin: Majalah Teknik Mesin is an open-access peer-reviewed journal that mediates the dissemination of academicians, researchers, and practitioners in mechanical engineering. Media Mesin: Majalah Teknik Mesin accepts submissions from all over the world, especially from Indonesia.

Media Mesin: Majalah Teknik Mesin aims to provide a forum for national and international academicians, researchers, and practitioners on mechanical engineering to publish the original articles. All accepted articles will be published and will be freely available to all readers with worldwide visibility and coverage.

The scope of Media Mesin: Majalah Teknik Mesin is specific topics issues in mechanical engineering such as:

  1. Energy Conversion and Management
  2. Thermofluids
  3. Material and Manufacturing, and
  4. Design and Structure

All submissions must be in English. Indonesian articles must be discussed in accordance with the language, for instance, in grammar and writing. The journals will be published twice a year, in January and July. 

Media Mesin: Majalah Teknik Mesin has been indexed in Google ScholarCrossrefSINTADirectory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), dan Garba Rujukan Digital (GARUDA).

Media Mesin: Majalah Teknik Mesin has been nationally accredited by the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (Volume 21 No 2 2020 - Volume 26 No 1 2025) and indexed in SINTA 3.
